FWIW,
"700 Pound Bear
I received an email of a huge 700 pound bear killed by a combine in Wisconsin. Maybe you also saw it? You never know with random emails, often more urban legend than real life. According the The Dunn County News , the story is partially true.
The bear was first illegally shot by a deer hunter, and the next day hit by the combine in the cornfield. The farmer believed he had killed the bear, paid the DNR for it, and brought it to a taxidermist for a full mount. The taxidermist found two bullet holes in the hide, and contacted the DNR who then confiscated it. The hunter came forward, clearing the farmer, but the DNR is attempting to keep possession of the bear. While the legal battle ensues unfortunately overshadowing the true sad reality - that a monarch of the woods fell victim to a poachers bullet."

LOL, look at the picture closely, there is nothing holding the bear up but that woman's fist. You guys are watching a still from a very disturbing and unnatural puppet show.

Well, I'll give you my take on the story, and you can take it from there, as with any story that deals with a record book animal, the slashing of poaching comes around. I heard of the bear right after christmas. My Uncle(names have been changed to protect the innocent liar?LOL) called my dad and said he knows this Schoulgh. This reportedly happened not far from my property in Pickford. My Uncle talked to this guy and heard the story and it pretty much fits the email I also received. So take it for what its worth, the only truth I know is what My uncle said, I know there was some 2 or 3 fields around there with standing corn at the 1st of december. I beleive its real, but I want to, I'll be heading to da U.P. here in a week or two for some fishin so I'll stop to Wilderness treasures bait shop and ask in there. they would know if it happened around there, not much gets by in the small town of Pickford. All in all, I wish i would have seen that one last October! lol
